TTA participated at 4th ARE’s Energy Access Investment Forum held in Catania, Italy, March 2018 / In this year’s ARE Awards TTA’s Partner in Tanzania receives recognition
Xavier Vallvé participated as a panelist in the Session «Talking Business & Investment: Latin America – Rural Electrification beyond Basic Need Supply?». This forum was held on 12-15 March 2018 and was organized by ARE in partnership with Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean and Africa (RES4MED&Africa) and the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP). It aimed at fostering investment, breaking down barriers and data transparency help drive off-grid project bankability.
We are delighted by the recognition given to our partner ENSOL of Tanzania for the “Best off-grid project of the year”. The 48 kWp Solar PV micro-grid in Mpale village was developed and executed by ENSOL jointly with TTA and is in operation since last September 2017. In its third year running ARE’s Awards, recognition has been given to companies and organizations, which have made special contributions to advance the rural electrification sector.
