Santiago 2013 Symposium on Microgrids held in Santiago de Chile on September 11-12, 2013
Xavier Vallvé, Director of TTA, participated in this symposium which aim is the international exchange of information on the current state of research on microgrids and to identify key technical, economic, and policy issues that should be addressed by future work. He was Chair of the «Remote Application» session which had presentations from panelists related to projects in the Antarctica, in Canada and in China, and from X. Vallvé who presented the results of the Study on « Renewable Energies for Remote Areas and Islands » carried out for IEA International Energy Agency-Renewable Energy Technology Deployment (IEA-RETD) in which TTA participated together with Meister Consultants Group, HOMER Energy and Energy Analytics.
