Visit by EU representatives to the plants implemented in Palestine and Jordan | ENPI-MED-Solar Project, March 2017
TTA as Project Coordinator and leader of all technological activities of the ENPI MED-Solar project is pleased that our Palestinian partner, the Energy Research Centre (ERC) of the An-Najah National Unversity, hosted on 16th March 12017, the visit by EU representatives to the two PV Hybrid plants implemented in Palestine within this project. The EU delegation visited also the facilities in Jordan funded within the same project.
The plants located in the campus are at the An-Najah University Hospital (104kWp) and at the Faculty of Medicine (41kWp). The visit hosted by Dr. Imad Ibrik, Director of ERC, was organized with the collaboration of the European Union Office for the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The project executed from 2013 to2016 has served to implement innovative solutions and know-how transfer in order to reduce the impact of polluting diesel generators and dependence on fossil fuels imports in Palestine, as well as in Lebanon and Jordan, where other similar plants have been implemented within the same project.
